Treat the day with love in your heart

The book The Greatest Salesman In The World had a profound impact on me. One of the key ideas of the book is to life life by a set of principle and build habits around that embody them. I’m summarizing it in an actionable form.
The first habit is “Treat the day with love in your heart”
What
Make love the greatest weapon to open the hearts of people and my shield to protect against hate/anger.
Love everything/situation by looking at the positive. Eg: Love the sun for it warms your bones, yet love the rain for it cleanses your spirit
Love every person as they have qualities to be admired
Love yourself as you will inspect closely everything enters your body, mind, soul and heart
Why
Unseen power of love on others: Love can open the hearts of people and they cannot defend against love. People can counter reasoning, distrust speech, and disapprove appearance but love will melt all hearts.
Power of love on yourself: When you love yourself you will closely inspect everything that enters your body, mind, soul and heart. You will never over indulge in requests of flesh and will cherish your body with cleanliness and moderation. You heart will never get bitter but you will share & grow.
How
Speech: (Similar to Dale Carnegie)
Laud enemies and they will become friends
Encourage friends and they will become brothers
Always dig for reasons to applaud
Never look for excuses to gossip
Bite my tongue when I am tempted to criticize
Praise from the rooftops
Reaction to others/situations:
Use Love as the shield to repulse the arrows of hate & spears of anger. Adversity & discouragement will beat against this new shield and become the softest of rain. And sustain you when you are alone.
In silence and to yourself, address him and day “I Love you”. Though spoken in silence those words will shine in my eyes, unwrinkle my brow, bring a smile to my lips, and echo in my voice and his heart will be opened.
Affirmations:
Love all mankind
All hate is let my veins for I have not time to hate, only time to love
With love I will increase my influence/impact a hundred fold
If I have no other qualities I can succeed with love alone.
Without it I will fail though I possess all the knowledge and skills
I will treat this day with love in my heart.
